On the 4th floor (Boarding) of Terminal 1, the arrival terminal for ANA flights, there are immigration booths and the stop for the shuttle bus from Gates 10 to 18. There is also a currency exchange booth, as well as escalators and elevators. After immigration, proceed to the 5th floor (Arrivals) of Terminal 1. On the 5th floor, there is the baggage claim area and customs. After passing through customs, there is an information counter, a currency exchange booth, taxi stands, and bus stops for buses to Paris.

There may be a carry-on luggage inspection. Passengers who wish to bring cash of EUR 10,000 or more must declare.
On the 2nd floor (Boutiques/Restaurants) of Terminal 1, there is a value-added tax refund counter (DETAXE) and the boarding area for the CDG VAL (a monorail-style unmanned terminal shuttle), as well as escalators. In Hall 2 on the 3rd floor (Departures), there are ANA check-in and ticketing counters, a currency exchange booth, an information counter, as well as escalators and elevators. After check-in, proceed to the 4th floor (Boarding). On the 4th floor, there are immigration booths, the priority immigration lane, security, and the priority security lane. The entrances to the priority lanes are indicated with "Access No.1". After passing through security, proceed to Gates 10 to 18.
Passengers who wish to use a lounge should take the elevator to the Star Alliance Lounge on the 10th floor after passing through immigration. Please note that security is not on the same floor but before the boarding gates. Therefore, please proceed to security in good time.

A value-added tax refund (VAT) is applicable for residents outside of the European Union who are over 15 years of age. It only concerns non-commercial tourist purchases for amounts in excess of €175.01 in the same shop on the same day in France.

On the 4th floor (Boarding) of Terminal 1, there is the bus stop for the shuttle bus from Gates 10 to 18. After getting off the bus, passengers departing from Terminal 1 who are connecting to a Schengen country should proceed to immigration and then to security at Gates 60 to 68 or 70 to 78, which are used exclusively for flights to Schengen countries. Passengers connecting to non-Schengen countries should proceed directly to the boarding gate. On the 4th floor, there is also a currency exchange booth, escalators and elevators.
CDGVAL is an automated vehicle similar to monorail. It is available between Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The change bus is available between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2A. The connecting bus operates every 20 minutes.
In Hall 2 on the 3rd floor (Departures) of Terminal 1, there are ANA check-in and ticketing counters, a currency exchange booth, an information counter, as well as escalators and elevators. Passengers connecting from a flight from a Schengen country or a France domestic flight arriving at Terminal 2 should perform the check-in procedures and then proceed to the 4th floor (Boarding). On the 4th floor, there are immigration booths, a priority immigration lane, security, and a priority security lane. The entrances to the priority lanes are indicated with "Access No.1". Passengers from Terminal 2 and passengers arriving at Terminal 1 on flights from a Schengen country should pass through immigration and security and then proceed toward boarding gates 10 to 18. Passengers arriving at Terminal 1 on international flights from non-Schengen countries should proceed directly to the boarding gate. On the 4th floor, there is also a currency exchange booth, escalators and elevators.

Connecting to flights departing from Terminal 2 (A, B, C):
From Gates 20-28, please get to 2A by taking the shuttle bus within the restricted area bound for Terminal 2. After getting off at 2A, proceed to 2B or 2C on foot.
Connecting to flights departing from Terminal 2 (D, E, F):
After Immigration, please proceed to Terminal 2 using CDGVAL that departs from Boutiques/Restaurants floor—then proceed to 2D, 2E and 2F on foot.
Connecting to flights departing from Terminal 2G:
After Immigration, please proceed to Terminal 2 using CDGVAL that departs from Boutiques/Restaurants floor—then go upstairs to the bus stop of N2 and proceed to 2G by N2 bus.
Airport Terminals Map ANA flights depart and arrive at Gates 10 to 18 in Terminal 1. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are connected via the CDGVAL and shuttle buses. The CDGVAL runs between Terminal 1 and the central part of Terminal 2. Shuttle bus N2 stops at Terminal 2 in between the 2B and 2D areas; between the 2A and 2C areas; at the CDGVAL station; and at 2E, 2F, and 2G. Shuttle buses connect the area at Gates 10 to 18 in Terminal 1 with the 2A area of Terminal 2.
Passengers arriving from a Schengen country and checked-in luggage to Tokyo should proceed to Gates 10-18 after clearing Immigration. Note: There is no need to go through the baggage claim area on the 3rd floor after clearing Immigration. Please claim your luggage at the final destination airport (Tokyo).
The establishment of the EU and the Schengen Agreement has simplified entry and departure procedures within Europe. Once a Japanese national has arrived at one of the Schengen countries, travel within that country is treated as “internal domestic” travel. The following entry and departure procedures apply to passengers traveling from one Schengen country to another Schengen country.
