Flights operated by ANA Group will arrive at Terminal 2 of Munich Airport.
On level 6 (arrival floor) of Terminal 2, there is an escalator and elevator, and there are immigration booths upon going down to level 5 (Gates H level). Going through level 4 (Gates G level) down to level 3 (ground floor) there is the baggage claim area and customs. There also is an information counter and a currency exchange booth, and upon exiting there are bus stops, taxi stands and the passageway to the train station.

Flights operated by ANA Group will depart from Terminal 2.
The lounges on G-Level (Level 4) are located before Immigration. The lounges at H-LevOn level 3 (ground floor) of Terminal 2, there is an information counter, escalators and elevators. Departing passengers should go up to level 4 (Gates G level). Passengers arriving by taxi or bus can enter the terminal on level 4 (Gates G level). On level 4 (Gates G level), there are ANA check-in and ticketing counters. After check-in, please proceed to security or the priority security lane. Passengers with items in their checked baggage for which they wish to apply for VAT refunds should check in at the ANA check-in counter and then bring their baggage to customs with a checked baggage tag attached. After applying for the VAT refund, drop off the baggage at customs.*1 Going up to level 5 (Gates H level), there are immigration booths. After passing through immigration, passengers who wish to apply for VAT refunds for items in their carry-on baggage should have their VAT refund application form stamped and then receive the refund at the tax refund counter. A tax refund counter (Global Blue) is located near Gate H30. There is also the Lufthansa Senator Lounge, the Lufthansa Business Lounge, escalators and elevators.
A value-added tax (VAT) is applied to items purchased in Germany or other EU countries, but visitors may apply for the refund of the tax.
Some travelers are eligible for Fast Track Security Screening. Travelers should look for the Gold Track signs.

Passengers connecting from ANA to a Germany domestic flight or a flight to a Schengen country should proceed to immigration. After passing through immigration, take the elevator down to level 4 (Gates G level). Passengers connecting to a non-Schengen country should proceed to security. After passing through security, proceed to Gates H (boarding), or take the shuttle train operating at intervals of 4 minutes to the satellite (Gates L). On level 4 (Gates G level), there is customs and security. After passing through these, proceed to Gates G (boarding), or take the shuttle train operating at intervals of 4 minutes to the satellite (Gates K). On level 4 (Gates G level), there also is the Lufthansa Senator Lounge, escalators and elevators.

On level 4 (Gates G level) of Terminal 2, there is customs, security, and the shuttle train stop (shuttles operate between the terminal and satellite at intervals of 4 minutes). After passing through customs and security, passengers connecting from a Schengen country to ANA should take an escalator or elevator up to level 5 (Gates H level). After going up, pass through immigration and then proceed to Gates H (boarding). On level 5 (Gates H level) there also is the shuttle train stop (shuttles operate between the terminal and satellite at intervals of 4 minutes), a VAT refunds application counter for items in carry-on baggage, the Lufthansa Senator Lounge, the Lufthansa Business Lounge, escalators and elevators.

The establishment of the EU and the Schengen Agreement has simplified entry and departure procedures within Europe. Once a Japanese national has arrived at one of the Schengen countries, travel within that country is treated as “internal domestic” travel. The following entry and departure procedures apply to passengers traveling from one Schengen country to another Schengen country.
Note: Entry/departure procedures may take an extended amount of time if the passenger does not possess a letter of consent. This letter does not guarantee permission to enter and/or depart from the country, since this is at the discretion of Immigration officer.
Passengers who plan to obtain their visa after their arrival in a Schengen country other than Germany will need a Schengen visa when going through Immigration in Germany. Passengers to whom this condition applies should inquire with their nearest German embassy or consulate.
