Airport Map Information

On the 2nd floor of the arrival terminal, there are immigration booths and a priority immigration lane (FAST TRACK).  Only Business Class passengers are eligible to use the priority immigration lane. After passing through immigration, proceed to the baggage claim area and customs.  On the 2nd floor, you can also find the domestic transit counters for Thai Airways (TG) and Bangkok Airways (PG), immigration for domestic transfers, and an information counter.

Immigration
  • Please present your passport and Immigration card. Please make sure to fill out the Immigration Card in the cabin.
  • There are separate Immigration counters for residents and travelers. Travelers need to go to the counter that says "Foreign Passport."
Fast Track Immigration

Fast track Immigration is available to the following customers:

  • Business Class
  • Disables passengers
  • Senior passengers (over the age of 70)
  • Expectant mothers
  • Passengers with infants

Please show your boarding pass when using this service.

Customs
  • Customers with goods to declare must turn in their Customs Declaration forms.
  • If you have items to declare, please go to the red counter.
  • If you do not have items to declare, please go to the green counter.

On the 4th floor of the departure terminal, there are ANA check-in and ticketing counters (L island).  After performing the check-in procedures, proceed to security or the priority security checkpoint (FAST TRACK) on the 5th floor. Only Business Class passengers are eligible to use the priority security checkpoint. Return to the 4th floor, pass through immigration, and then proceed to the boarding gate.  Passengers who wish to use a lounge should take an escalator to the 3rd floor.  On the 4th floor, you can also find an information counter and elevators.  On the 3rd floor, there are the Thai Royal Silk Lounges, Royal Orchid Lounges, and Miracle Lounges.  You can also find Transfer Counter EAST for ANA, Star Alliance, and Bangkok Airlines international transfers; Transfer Counter WEST-1 for ANA, Thai Airways, and other airlines' international transfers; and Transfer Counter WEST-2 for other airlines' international transfers.

Security Check and Immigration

Please get on the escalator to pass through the Security Check on the upper floor. You will proceed to Immigration after completing the Security Check. Note: Please prepare your passport and hold onto your appropriate half of the Immigration card and boarding pass.

Airport Map Information

Passengers connecting from ANA to an international flight with a different airline should proceed from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor. On the 3rd floor there are security checkpoints, Transfer Counter EAST for ANA, Star Alliance, and Bangkok Airways international transfers; Transfer Counter WEST-1 for ANA, Thai Airways, and other airlines' international transfers; and Transfer Counter WEST-2 for international transfers with other airlines. On the 3rd floor, there are also the Thai Royal Silk Lounges, Royal Orchid Lounges, and Miracle Lounges. Passengers connecting from ANA to a domestic flight operated by Thai Airways or Bangkok Airways should proceed to the Thai Airways (TG) / Bangkok Airways (PG) Transit Counter (Domestic) on the 2nd floor and then pass through the exclusive immigration booth for transfers to domestic flights. All other passengers connecting to domestic flights should pass through immigration or the priority immigration lane (FAST TRACK), baggage claim, and customs.

Transiting from ANA to Other Airlines (International Flights)
  • After arrival on the 2nd floor, please proceed to the 3rd floor and pass through the security check. Go to the gate for your transit flight after completing check-in at the transit counter for international flights.
    • If you’re transiting to an airline that does not have a transit counter on the 3rd floor, please pick up your baggage after Immigration and go through Customs. Then you must check in again at the international flight check-in counter on the 4th floor.
Transiting from ANA to Thai Smile Airways (Domestic Flights)

If transiting to Phuket (HKT), Chiang Mai (CNX), Krabi (KBV), Koh Samui (USM) and Hat Yai (HDY) by Thai Airways (TG):

  • After check-in at the Bangkok Airways (PG) transit counter, complete the Immigration at transit inspection area for domestic flights and proceed to the boarding gate of connecting flights.
    • Note: The above does not apply if your flight number has “TG” and is operated by Thai Smile Airways (WE).

If transiting to domestic flights other than the above:

  • After Immigration, baggage collection and Customs, please proceed to the boarding gate counter of domestic flights on the 4th floor.

If transiting from other airline's international flights and Thai domestic flights to ANA:

  • When you have not checked in to ANA flights at departing airports, please check-in at ANA transfer counter (Transfer Counter EAST or WEST) on the 3rd floor and proceed to the ANA boarding gate.
    • Except for transfer from a part of airline companies.

Train

Airport Rail Link

Services all 8 stations between Suvarnabhumi Station that is on lower ground floor 1 of the airport terminal building → Phaya Thai Station.
Only local trains called City Line trains, and all go to Phaya Thai Station.

  • Platform: There is a ticket booth in the first basement floor of the airport terminal building. The platform is underground level 2.
  • Traveling time: Approx. 30 minutes to Phaya Thai
  • Fares: 15 to 45 Baht depending on the destination. Fare to last stop Phaya Thai is 45 Baht.
  • Timetable: 2 to 6 services every hour from 5:30 a.m. to 10:36 p.m. on weekdays, 5:46 a.m.  to 10:54 p.m.  during weekends.

Taxi

  • Platform: Using the automatic taxi allocation machine (touch-screen) located at Gate No. 4 and No. 7 on Airport Terminal Building 1F will print a piece of paper with a number on it. At the taxi waiting area, there are electronic notice boards hanging from the ceiling. Head towards the electronic notice board with your number and your taxi will be waiting for you. Walk to the taxi.
  • Traveling Time: Approx. 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Fares: Approx. 300 to 350 Baht including the metered fare (About 250 to 300 Baht to the center of Bangkok) and dispatch fee of 50 Baht (You will be charged the total of the combined metered fare and dispatch fee on arrival at your destination. If toll roads are used, the toll is to be paid by the customer)
  • Operating hours: 24 hours

Limousine

  • Platform: Outside Airport Terminal Building second floor (Arrivals). There is a reception counter in the baggage claim area and in the arrivals lobby outside that area.
  • Traveling Time: Approx. 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Fares: Price to Bangkok City Center is from 1,300 Baht (Price will differ depending on the vehicle type and distance. Price is from 800 Baht if within the vicinity of the airport. Includes toll road tolls.Credit cards are accepted.
  • Operating hours: 24 hours

Airport Bus

The S1 bus route to Khao San Road is operational.

  • Platform: The bus stop is out exit 7 on the first floor of the airport terminal building (arrivals floor) and across the street passing in front of the building.
  • Traveling time: About 1 to 1.5 hours
  • Fares: 60 Baht
  • Operating hours: 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (30 minutes intervals)
